The Beauty of Castor Oil.

It was in Botany Class that I learnt that Castor oil was listed as one of the most poisonous plants in the world according to 2007 Edition of Guinness World Record. No No Don't throw out your bottle of Castor Oil yet. The poisonous toxin called Ricin (This is cause the botanical name of Castor plant is Ricinus communis) is contained in the hull of the beans of castor and the oil is produced by pressing ripe seeds that have had their hulls removed (Its a good thing I kept my class notes, who wan dey remember all these things😒😒) Castor oil is a very thick and heavy oil, it is antibacterial and antifungal. It is also rich in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins and Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. It is beneficial against dandruff and scalp infections. It also helps increase circulation to the scalp and improves hair growth.
