These three kids pictured above were caught after they tried to rob a shop recently. The kids who were in possession of cutlass, hammer and other materials for the failed operation were reportedly nabbed by the lady who owns the shop. After they were caught, the children were given a severe beating by other people who came to the scene. The woman who owns the shop then locked them up in the building until she can figure out what to do with them. See more photos below:

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and other security agencies have arrested a 30 year old lady at an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Dikwa town of Borno for allegedly killing her newborn child. According to the NSCDC Commandant in Borno, Ibrahim Abdullahi occurred on June 1st. The lady reportedly threw her baby inside a pit in the camp after she gave birth.  "Immediately she committed the atrocity, she left the camp. Our attention was drawn to the dastardly act after three days when the corpse started smelling in the pit. We conducted our investigation and were able to trace her through a man named Gulumba , the person that brought her to the camp. The case had since been referred to the Borno police command for further prosecution and interrogation. This is not the first case; IDPs on several occasions had been caught indulging in all sorts of anti-social behavior, like prostitution, murder and illicit drug abuse, among others” he said.

According to the person who shared these photos, Total Oil workers who were sacked without being paid their terminal benefits (final entitlements of an employee upon termination of an employment contract), protested this morning at their Head office in Victoria Island. A man who needs a bone marrow transplant will now be able to get it from his Nigerian brother after the Home Office has lifted his visa ban. Isaac Aganozor, a caretaker at a top London school, has leukaemia. His brother Patrick, who lives in Nigeria, had his first visa request refused as the Home Office thought he would try to stay in the UK. The decision was overturned when a new visa request made it clear that Dulwich College would sponsor him. The college, where Mr Aganozor works, said it would pay his brother's £1,500 return flight and offer him a place to stay. Mr Aganozor, of Sydenham Hill, south-east London, is on his fifth cycle of chemotherapy. The initial refusal letter from the British High Commission in Lagos had said Patrick did not meet the economic requirements as he earned £69 a month as a tricycle courier. The Movement for Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), says they are ready to dialogue with the Federal government to bring an end to the hostilities in the Niger Delta region.
