Tomorrow will worry About itself.

Image
One of my favorite bible verses is Matthew 6:34 (NIV) “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” I love this verse because no matter who you are or what you are going through you just have to nod in agreement. It’s that crystal clear.  There is no point in worrying today because there is so much more to come and our worry will only make things worse. I used to be a top notch worrier. I would worry about everything to the point that it would make me physically sick. Here’s the kicker though, the majority, if not  everything  I worried about were things which I had zero control over. I suppose that’s what worry is all about. Once I grasped the concept of Matthew 6:34 and used it with Psalms 55:22 (NIV), “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken,”  I was freed from my shackles of worry. I had ...

A son and his father were walking on the mountains.Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”Curious, he yells: “Who are you?”He receives the answer: “Who are you?”And then he screams to the mountain: “I admire you!”The voice answers: “I admire you!”Angered at the response, he screams: “Coward!”He receives the answer: “Coward!”He looks to his father and asks: “What’s going on?”The father smiles and says: “My son, pay attention.”Again the man screams: “You are a champion!”The voice answers: “You are a champion!”The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: “People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.It gives you back everything you say or do.Our life is simply a reflection of our actio...

8 years Old Cancer Stricken Boy Find Love of his Life.

Image
David Spisak Jr., the 8-year-old with cancer who found the love of his life, has died. "There's never been a morning with such sadness as today and no words will do it justice but I'll try," David's mother Amber Spisak wrote on Facebook yesterday. "Our little man's last moments were laying with his mommy and daddy in the middle of the night, with a house full of family, friends and loved ones after days of being surrounded by love. This day was supposed to come about 9-10 months ago but David just wasn't done living yet so he made his own timeline and defied the rules." She continued: "I'm not ready to say things happen for a reason or a message of rainbows and sunshine just yet, but our baby boy was a fighter, a beautiful soul, a force to be reckoned with and of all the things, he is most definitely a hero. Rest easy sweet boy, you fought an unfair fight with the strength of a thousand soldiers that I could've never done...but yo...

Using your facial scrub...

Image
A facial scrub is a beauty ritual that we should all do — regardless of age and skin type. By doing so you are able to remove impurities and dead cells that cover your skin. This process restores beauty and radiance and is the only way to profoundly clean your skin. Through exfoliation, dead cells that clog pores and lead to acne and blackheads are removed. Furthermore, exfoliation helps stimulate blood circulation so your skin will look younger and fresher. A facial scrub offers many benefits so it is important to know how to do it according  to your skin type . Tips on how you should efficiently use your facial scrub: Keep in mind that facial scrubs are effective if applied regularly according to the recommendations for your skin type.To prevent irritations, use gentle circular motions while massaging your skin.Check for an allergic reaction by testing the scrub on your wrist first. The under eye area should be always avoided when applying a scrub. It is strongly rec...

When Love Dies....

Image
This is a topic I have for a while wanted to blog about but never felt the time was right. So I was on NL earlier and saw a post of this topic and pronto I knew I had to blog about it. What happens when love dies. When that man/woman you used to love, you no longer love. When you “suddenly” don’t love that person. When all you do is maybe care for that person but LOVE? Heck no. The feeling is no longer there. Maybe you start to snap at the person. Seeing him/her starts to at times irritate you. Other things start to take the place of that loved one. What do you do? I would share some replies. Replies I totally agree with. For a while you would notice I have been blogging about love and things that have to do with love. I am at a stage whereby I have started seeing “this love thing” as some people call it in a different light. My “love struck” point of view is kinda jaded. Am just an incurable sucker for love. And events in recent times have m...
