This is how a sharp guy-man roll.Last night my car developed a fault and could not move.. My Komboni is full of petty thieves.. I knew I will find my car without tyres and side mirrors.. Being the smart guy I am.. I just had to use "African Anti Theft Method".. This morning I found my car very intact.. Not even a fly or mosquito touched it.. 😂😂😂😂😂 #Umuntu ni Thinking 👌👌

The Lagos State Government on Monday warned residents to keep off the Ogun River, near the Kara Cattle Market which was recently blocked by vegetation, saying that the river could open up at any time with dire consequences.  Last weekend, the river was taken over by vegetation, caused by a heavy storm, which created a compacted layer over the river. Residents in the area were stunned by the incident and turned the area to a tourist site of some sort, with some residents seen walking on the blocked river and taking pictures. But the State Government in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Engr. Adebowale Akinsanya, said it was dangerous for residents to besiege the dry area as the flow of the river was still active beneath. Borno Government has directed security agencies to investigate alleged diversion of large quantities of rice meant for feeding Internally Displaced Persons in the state.  The rice, supplied by the National Emergency Management Agency for the feeding of the IDPs in the state, was allegedly diverted by some government officials.   The directive is contained in a statement issuedon Saturday by Malam Isa Gasau, the Special Adviser on Communications and Strategy to Governor Kashim Shettima, in Maiduguri. Gusau said that the governor gave the directive, while hosting heads of security agencies and members of the State Executive Council to a Ramadan breakfast at the Government House in Maiduguri. He said that the directive followed widespread allegations that some government functionaries were diverting food supplies meant for the feeding of the IDPs to personal use. 4 RRS operatives of the Lagos State Police Command early this morning sustained serious injuries while on operation when an over-speeding KIA RIO belonging to a hired car operator rammed into their vehicle near Ogudu Bus Stop. The RRS men were on duty point patrolling along Ogudu-Alapere axis, inspecting the Light Up Lagos Project facilities, when the accident occurred at about 12:06 am on Sunday. According to the information gathered at the scene of accident, RRS men were driving when a KIA Rio with lone occupant on a high speed rammed into them from behind. The death toll of the suspected Fulani herdsmen attack on Benue community over the weekend has risen to 59. A traditional ruler, some pregnant women, and little children were killed after the armed herdsmen attacked Gabo village in Nengev and Turan Councils wards of Logo Local Government Area of Benue State on Friday June 17th.  They reportedly carried out another attack on Ugondo community in the same Local government area yesterday morning Sunday June 19th.  Many of the villagers have fled their homes and farmlands following the renewed attacks.  Commenting on the matter, the state's Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Moses Yamu,said more mobile policemen have been drafted to the area to forestall further attacks.

Two of these passengers are in critical condition at the hospital. Twitter user Olajide shared this shocking video of the condition of one side of the airport in Owerri during heavy rainfall yesterday. In the video, an official can be seen trying to prevent him from taking pictures or recording any video, saying 'It is a no camera zone'. The government definitely needs to urgently fix up that airport.
