   Thursday, May 12, 2016, started like any other day for Prosper Oyinfade, a 34-year-old native of Abeokuta, Ogun State. A professional barber and part-time bodyguard at social events and major night clubs within the Lagos metropolis. The young man worked tirelessly to support his small family – a wife and two sons. Waking up very early each morning in search of ‘bread’ for the entire household, the Abeokuta native barely enjoys maximum sleep as a result of his workaholic nature. The upkeep and survival of his family occupied a prime position on his mind. Oyinfade had headed for the gym that fateful morning to refresh his muscles and keep fit ahead of a job the next day at an annual show in the Ikosi area of Ketu, a suburb within the metropolis. According to a new British study, passing gas may help you live longer  and, in a surprise twist, smelling gas might prevent dementia. Researchers found that when you pass wind, you’re helping yourself out by lowering your risk of cancer, heart attacks, and strokes. And, the main ingredient in it is hydrogen sulfate.  Researchers believe Inhaling it actually causes your brain to grow stronger and protects your brain from dementia. So try passing out gas.....

Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, has married Miss Jemila Tukur, seven years after the demise of his wife. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that eminent personalities across the country converged at the Civic centre to rejoice with the new couple in Ibadan on Sunday. Adedoja had on May 20 at the BMT Africa Garden Mosque in Abuja married Jemila, the daughter of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur,The former National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party. The event was celebrated with a lunch at Victoria Island in Lagos on May 19 before the `Nikkah’ ceremony in Abuja. Adedoja, was the former Provost of the Federal College of Education (Special) in Oyo, and PDP governorship candidate in the last general elections, lost his wife, Hadijat on March 6, 2009.
