The Chairman  of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its secretary in Kwara state, Ishola Balogun Fulani and Chief Bode Adekanye respectively have been kidnapped at gun point along Lokoja Okene road in Kogi state today May 20th. According to the publicity secretary of the party in the state, Sulyman Buhari, the politicians were kidnapped at about 10am.  “We received a call from the line of the chairman around this time, (10am) telling us of the kidnapping issue. No ransom was mentioned and all attempts to make further enquiries from them proved abortive as the line was no longer available”. “We are on it to see if we can still establish a link with them. We have taken all the necessary steps and linked up with relevant security operatives to ensure their safety and eventual release,” .

Ekemini, the 13 year old girl pregnant girl who was rescued by Danish aid worker, Anja Ringgren Loven and her husband David Emmannuel Umem, has given birth to her baby, a boy, through Caesarean operation. Anja announced this on her facebook wall. She wrote "This morning at 10 Ekemini gave birth ( caesarean operation ) to a healthy young little boy. Ekemini is the girl, only 13 years old who David and our team rescued a few weeks ago and brought to safety to our orphanage. ️ So please say Hello to the new member of our big family at DINNødhjælp/ACAEDF Childrens Home. He is just so sweet and adorable and I cannot wait to hold him in my arms ❤️ The operation went fine but Ekemini is a little sick and very tired. But she is with David and our team at the hospital now..

driver and dad of five in Port Harcourt, Christopher Okon, has allegedly killed his wife following an assault to defend a female co-tenant, said to be his lover. According to Punch, the deceased, Nsikak, a foodseller, had discovered her husband’s lover gave her children food in her absence. She subsequently called her out for daring to feed her children and the woman immediately called their man to report. Okon reportedly returned shortly after the call to beat up his wife. He then allegedly pushed her out of the house violently around 2 am and locked the door. Nsikak was said to have collapsed after the push and died that morning. Today: Lagos lawyer, Femi Falana(SAN), has said the Boko Haram member who impregnated and put Amina Ali, one of the ‎Chibok girls, in the family way, should not be regarded as her husband but an abductor and terrorist.
