Flody Mayweather Touching Tribute to muhammad Ali.

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali passed on early this morning at the age of 74. Floyd Mayweather, the World's richest boxer took to his IG page to pour tributes to his hero and inspiration. He wrote;  'Today my heart goes out to a pioneer, a true legend, and a hero by all means! Not a day went by entering the gym that I didn't think of you.' 'Your charisma, your charm and above all, your class are all of the elements that will be greatly missed by myself and the world. You are someone that inspired me greatly throughout my boxing journey and words cannot express how great you were as a person! Thank you for everything you've done for Black America, in the the world of sports & entertainment and for the legacy you leave behind! My sincerest condolences to the Ali family!'

This Lawyer and poet Abdul Mahmud disclosed the identity of the woman who was beheaded in Kano over alleged blasphemy. See the screenshot.  Bridget Patience was beheaded by angry Muslim youths in Wambai market in Kano yesterday evening, June 2, for allegedly making blasphemous comments about Prophet Muhammad.

Niger Delta Avenger Appeal to Other Militant Group..

The Niger Delta Avengers released a statement on their website this afternoon appealing to other militant groups fighting for the region, not to attack or harass oil workers or any soldier. In the statement which was signed by their spokesperson, Brig.Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, the group said militants should be careful not to offend God as they try to liberate the people of the region. Read the statement below ...  "Good Afternoon Niger Deltans. The liberation of the Niger delta people has taken a new swing with the daily emergence of new groups all over the region. The avengers are calling on all groups in the region to be strong and resolute as it is obvious that God is on our side. Kano state Governor meet with the womans Husband who was killed Over Blasphemy.

The Governor of Kano State, Umar Ganduje have met with Pastor Mike Agbahime, the husband of the Igbo woman, Bridget Patience, a deeper life member, who was beaten to death for alleged blasphemy in Kofar Wambai market in Kano on Thursday June 2nd.  He met the husband of the deceased in company of the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN (Kano Chapter) & leader of the Igbos of Kano.  The governor condemned the act in its totality and condoled the husband stressing that  “the killing of his 74 year old wife is illegal, unjustifiable and she is without fault”. After a long deliberation that lasted for more than 9 hours between the leaders of NLC and TUC and top government dignitaries which included the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Speaker of House of Representatives, Minister of Labour and Employment, Minister of Power and Housing, Minister of Transportation, Chief of Army Staff, all the State Governors, the Inspector General of Police and other respected stake holders, it has been unanimously resolved that today is Saturday and tomorrow is Sunday. Stop Firing your Staffs: FG tells Banks,lnsurance and others...

The Federal Government today has appealed to banks and other companies to stop retrenchment of their staff in this period. This appeal is coming 24 hours after a commercial bank laid of 1040 of its staff. The Federal government's appeal is contained in a statement signed by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige and released today June 3rd. The statement reads;  "Following spate of petitions and complaints from stakeholders in the banking, insurance and financial institutions, I hereby direct the suspension of the on-going retrenchment pending the outcome of the conciliatory meetings in the industry. This is as a result of the apprehension by my office of the various disputes in the sector in accordance and in compliance with the provisions of the labour laws of Nigeria. In this wise, all the retrenchments and redundancies done in the last four months and all proposed ones should be put on hold pending the outcome of the proposed stakeholders’ summit for the ban...
