19-year-old Stephanie Del Valle, representing Puerto Rico won the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant which held on Sunday, 19th December, 2016.  The contest which held in MGM National Habour, Oxon Hill, Maryland, USA had 117 contestants from all over the world vying for the crown which Stephanie ultimately won.  The first runner up was Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez representing the Dominican Republic, followed by Miss Indonesia, Natasha Mannuela. Miss Philipines and Miss Kenya also made it to the top five. 

Twitter user Ikwerreman posted a photo of his high school teacher, whom he met on the streets of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. According to him, she taught him social Studies in Secondary school from 1982-1985.
