PDP Care taker working Committee Takes Over Leadership Of the Party..

Members of the PDP National Caretaker Committee today took over the leadership of the party as they replaced the National Working Committee of the party. Former Deputy National Chairman and former Acting National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus on behalf of the National Working Committee, handed over to the caretaker committee members.  The committee members were appointed by the party during their party convention in Rivers state on May 21st. All PDP state governors, Senators and key party members were present at the handing over ceremony which took place at the National Secretariat.

PolicemanTrapped in Two Vehicle Collision in Lagos

Four persons were injured on Thursday, June 2 on LASU-Igando road when a tomato-laden truck collided with a Private Sector Partnership (PSP) Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) disposal van.  According to a statement issued today by LASEMA a police escort, Michael Adeyeye, was trapped in the truck, but was rescued by Lagos State Emergency Agency and Lagos State Fire Service officials. 

Woman Survive After She Veer Off The Road and Fell into A Drainage System..

A woman was fortunately rescued from inside a black Pajero jeep last weekend after she panicked and veered off the road and fell into an open drainage along MCC by Boston Hotel in Calabar the Cross Rivers State capital.  According to eyewitnesses who spoke to CrossRiverWatch, the woman was driving towards Mobil by MCC when she veered off the road because she was scared by the barrage of cars driving behind her.  One of the eyewitnesses who spoke under anonymity said that the unidentified woman would have sustained serious injuries if not for the timely intervention of passers-by who came to her rescue immediately the accident happened.  Source: CrossRiverWatch 

Former Super Eagle Coach Stephen Keshi Is Dead..

Ademola Olajire, an Assistant Director of Communications in the Nigeria Football Federation, said that Keshi  died after he was rushed to an hospital after complaining of his legs. He said that Keshi had problems with his legs and that he could not stand for long. More so Valere Hounandinou, an Assistant Coach to Keshi, confirmed  to Vanguard that ”last week Stephen Keshi complained to him that he was having irregular heart beats and he advised him to go the hospital’.   The Nigeria Football Federation on it twitter handle @thenff  tweeted ‘Former Nigeria Captain and Coach, Stephen Keshi, is dead. Reports say the legend died in the early hours of Wednesday, RIP Boss...
